I’m thrilled to be able to share another care package from Jamie! Jamie and her family currently reside in Spain and are going through a naval deployment. Jamie’s husband is forward deployed which means “he can deploy at a moment’s notice.” Jamie does an awesome job of incorporating her two little boys in making the care packages. Her attitude is fantastic– both realistic and optimistic: “We hate deployments as much as the next military family but making care packages makes time go by and allows us to have fun making them… and my husband LOVES receiving them.” (Tweet this!)
To decorate the box, Jamie printed out miniature calendars and marked off each day that was over in red marker. She also printed out photos of her children and her– each in a different pose that corresponded to the caption. For example, the picture of her boys hugging each other said, “Can’t wait to hug you.”

Aww, they are a cute family. I pray for the deployed every night before bed. I bet they do love getting these little packages, I can imagine it means a lot knowing their family is still there for them & cheering them on from the sidelines. I hope your having a great weekend!
Thanks, Leslie! You are so sweet! Have a wonderful week!
I usually add photos and fun games to care packages! Plus food, if he requests any. Great list.
