I’m the Girl Who…

…has met Jimmy Carter and President Obama (and shook both of their hands) and saw George Bush, Sr. and Bill Clinton in person. I just need to collect George W. Bush to have seen or met every living president.

…has visited every state except for North Dakota, Hawaii, and Alaska.

…is opening an Etsy shop! (Yay!)

…still likes to keep food on a plate separate. Touching food is just gross. (I’m sorry, I can’t help it!)

…will eat an entire can of icing while watching a movie. There’s a reason why we don’t have cans of icing in our apartment.

…will do the same thing to a can of cherry pie filling.

…entered a cherry pie eating contest one summer because every participant got two pies… for free!

…only started eating cereal with milk (and not dry) my junior year of college. My friends made fun of me for it, so I gave in to peer pressure. Sigh.

…same goes for salsa.

…broke up fights on the regular as a high school teacher. (I know, I don’t look like the kind of person who would do that, but you do what you have to to protect kids.)

…who once got punched by a student. In the face. And took it like a boss. (It was an accident, but I still can’t believe I stayed standing.)

…misses her students every day and keeps in contact with a lot of them now that they’re in college (or have graduated. Gosh, I’m old.).

…loves creme brulee, chocolate chip cookies, pizza, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, anything with caramel or peanut butter, and diet Pepsi.

…who bought an entire gallon bag of Lucky Charms marshmallows. No cereal. Just the mallows. (More on that later.)

…writes an entire post about herself and spends most of it talking about food…

I rarely share in link-ups anymore, but I thought this was such a cute idea, that I couldn’t resist! What fun tidbits would you tell about yourself?

    1. Hahaha, I came across it randomly! I’m waiting for the perfect recipe, but it is definitely Instagram- and blog-worthy! I didn’t realize buying JUST the marshmallows was a thing!

  1. This was an awesome post and I LOVE your blogs name! Good luck with your etsy shop and thank you for linking up with us!
