Disclosure: I received product from Orange Glad for a review. I only review and endorse products that I enjoy and believe that my readers will, too. All opinions and goofy comments are my own.

You might remember that I reviewed the February Orange Glad box just a few months ago. I was really excited and flattered that Orange Glad asked me to review their May, June, and July dessert subscription boxes! How exciting is that? (And my sweet tooth thanks them! My diet plan, however, does not.)

The May box came packed with five gourmet treats– all of which had their own flavors and textures.  Inside I found:

  • 2 Cranberry Orange Welsh Cakes
  • A Gluten-Free Ultimate Brownie from Fine Sconehenge Baking Co.
  • A Peanut Butter Cup Cookie from Baking Betty’s
  • 2 Italian Butterhorns from Cici’s Italian Butterhorns
  • An Award Winning S’more Cookie from Baking Betty’s

When John and I opened the box, the enclosed card informed us to eat both of Baking Betty’s cookies “right away.” We obliged. But we waited long enough so that I could snap this picture. (The other cookies didn’t get this kind of all-star treatment!)

Hands down, my favorite– which I was really surprised by– was the gluten-free brownie. This brownie was intensely chocolaty and satisfying. I had only meant to eat half of it so I could save the other half for John. But– of course– I couldn’t help myself. I ate the entire thing in one sitting. For dinner.

I also really enjoyed the Italian Butterhorns, which I had never tried before. The cookies are rolled around a walnut, sugar, and cinnamon filling and are dipped in cinnamon sugar. Yep, you’re right– John wasn’t lucky enough to try these either yet. I ate them during one of his 12-hour night shifts. It was just too long. Sorry, John!

If you’re still not sure what to get your dad for Father’s Day, think about giving the gift of dessert from Orange Glad. After all, who doesn’t love ordering dessert online, and having it show up at their front door?
