I am being compensated for this post as part of the Operation In Touch Brand Ambassador Program via MSB New Media. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
If you don’t know by now, I’m a care package fiend. I started making them for John while he was deployed… and this year I’ve made some to send to my sister. And it looks like next year, I’ll be creating more for my other sister.
As I’ve shared care packages, I’ve gotten emails and messages from readers (tons of them!) that usually say the same thing: I’m not creative… where can I find more ideas?
Honestly, it doesn’t matter if you’re “not creative” or if you don’t feel too creative. The most important part of a care package is that you sent it yourself– it’s not a competition. But, if you’re a little intimidated, need to get those creative juices flowing, or just really want to look at some amazingly cute ideas, I’ve collected a group of care package sites, photo albums, pin boards, and accounts that have a metric ton of inspiration for you. Enjoy!
Creative Care Packages
Creative Care Packages posts photos from followers who share their work. You’ll get lost for hours in their previous photos. Seriously. Look at it when you don’t have anything else to do, otherwise, you’ll wonder how you lost 2 hours of your day.

Military Package Ideas
The ladies at the Facebook page Military Package Ideas take care packages seriously. They have spent a lot of time curating a huge collection of photos that are a combination of pictures taken from the internet and Pinterest and ones sent in by Facebook followers. They also post articles about care packages as well as tips and heads-up when there are sales on popular care package items. Did I also mention that they are a very positive community that tries to lift up each other?
Love From Home
Ashley’s blog, Love From Home was the first blog I ever read about care packages. And I was hooked. (Thanks for the addition, lady!) Ashley chronicled her care package journey as her fiance (now-husband) spent a year deployment in Afghanistan with the National Guard. He’s home safe and sound, but Ashley has kept a gallery of all of her care packages along with directions for how she made them and their contents. It’s great stuff.
Military Care Package Ideas
Another Facebook group for care packages, Military Care Package Ideas has a very robust ongoing album of care package examples and ideas.

Military Avenue’s Pin Board
If you’re not following Military Avenue for all things milspouse, go do that right now. Then check out their pin board devoted to care packages. Currently, it’s at 225 pins, so it’s healthy and one of the biggest care package boards out there.
Care Package & Gift Ideas
I’m totally plugging my own care package board here. (Lame? Yep. Sorry… but I want to make sure you have this resource!) With more than 1,800 care package pins, is the largest board I know of. (I’m sure there are care packages boards that are larger– let me know what they are in the comments!) And don’t forget to check out all of my care package posts here on the blog.

This is the first time I’ve been able to send my husband care packages. I just did my first themed package a couple weeks ago, and it was so fun. I love seeing lots of ideas!
Send me pictures! I’d love to feature your care package, Tiffany!
