It’s been a while since I’ve blogged about the ornaments in John’s Advent care package. I have been snowed under with work– the kids are always a little nuts before Christmas break, there are progress reports, and there’s always holiday break work to prepare. But, tonight’s Thursday night and I have a rare moment to myself… time to catch up on the blog! Yesterday, John opened a package to find a very simple heart ornament. It is small (if you download the template, you’ll see what I mean). As I made it, I could not get “The Shape of My Heart” by the Backstreet Boys out of my head (and now, of course, as I’m writing this post, it’s back, bouncing around my brain), which is proof positive that I’m 100% a child of the 90’s.
